State Our Case for Peace.
Tuesday, Jan. 27th, Bush will give his State of the Union Address.
It is customary for the legislators of both parties to clap and stand
up in support of the President's statements.
We can take two actions around this event to State Our Case for Peace.
1. On Monday, call your Senators and Representative. Tell them that you are calling to express your strong opposition to a war in Iraq.
Tell them you expect them to refrain from clapping and standing in
support of the President during his State of the Union Address.
2. On Wednesday, call the Whitehouse and your Senators and Reprsentative. Tell them that you are calling to express your strong opposition to a senseless war in Iraq.
Inspections are an intelligent, legal, and inexpensive strategy
supported by most Americans and the International Community.
Pre-emptive War is un-wise, illegal under International Law and
expensive in the cost of human life, economic stability and money.
