Please join us in exploring the disciplines of our greater Rudra Yoga system.
It contains the tools and practices to remove one's obstacles, maintain perfect
attention, and shift into a permanent state of love and awareness. It uses elements
from Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Taoism, Tibetan Buddhism, Bön, Tantra and
Sufism as the supplementary elements with Rudra Meditation as it's main practice.
This upcoming class will focus on practices from the Taoist tradition.Taoist Yoga focuses
on strengthening the electromagnetic field, transmuting potentially harmful negative energies
into useful, creative energies. Warm-up Exercises open the meridians in the body allowing
Chi to flow easily, Healing Breaths balance and harmonize the organs and the emotions to
which they are related, Taoist Exercises and Martial Exercises open the heart and navel
cavity, and Meditation turns on our light body and tunes one in to the elements of nature.

in the heart of Ukrainian Village. It is a beautiful loft space with the intention to offer
weekly yoga and meditation classes as well as provide a creative environment for

About the instructor
Miles Maeda is renowned for his creative work as a musician and DJ. In 1993 he turned to yoga and meditation to learn about health and wellness, to deepen a connection with his creative work, as well as train in the disciplines of the esoteric arts. He finished this formal training with his teacher Murshida Rudi Moumanie Kadre in 1998, completing the 2 1/2-year comprehesive course  in Hatha, Kundalini, Tao & Tibetan yogas and the paths of Tantra and Sufism (libertyadvance.org). He then began performing and teaching around the world under the guidance of his primary teacher Mursshud Van Merlin (mursshud.org) creating The Traveling Love Show and DJ Evolution projects (milesmaeda.com).
